Alton Towers presents Croxden with Stone Planter 26.06.2019

The Alton Towers Resort has kindly donated a stone planter to Croxden Parish Council and it will be located at St Giles Church, Croxden for all the residents of the Parish to appreciate. The planter’s first job was to be expertly filled up by the children of All Saints School Gardening Club, Denstone, for the Croxden Flower Festival, which took place last weekend. (23rd June 2019)

Liz Greenwood, Community Liaison Manager from Alton Towers was delighted that the stone planter could be used to help display a range of flowers for the event and commented, “Alton Towers is delighted to have been able to donate to the Parish Council and hope that the flower festival is a success”.

Marion Kent, Chair of Croxden Parish Council, commented, “Alton Towers has been very generous in providing this community asset to the Parish Council and the Councillors are grateful for the support that Alton Towers gives back to the community in which they operate.”
