Just a quick note to let you all know about the Fireworks rehearsals that we’ll be undertaking in order to make sure the show runs as smoothly as possible.  As Scarefest ends on Sunday 3rd November we will have a whole four days to strip out all the Halloween theming and install the fireworks show framework – doesn’t sound long but last year we were doing them both at the same time!

So we will be running lights, lasers and low level show audio from Monday 4th until Wednesday 6th from 9am until 9pm (not constantly though I hasten to add) and additional lights and lasers overnight.  We’ll do full rehearsals on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons and evenings with everything bar the fireworks themselves and then final programming tweaks on Friday morning.

The show starts at 7pm and hopefully you’ve all booked your tickets and parking spaces for either the Friday or Sunday!  If not, email This email address is being protected from spambots. Over the three nights we will be running the active traffic management system again which means Wootton Lane will become one way from around 7pm.  Traffic will be taken from the grass car parks onto the lane and directed towards Ellastone where it will re-join the B5032.  Remember there will also be no parking along Wotton Lane and wardens will be issuing tickets to vehicles parked in contravention of the restrictions.
