Applications for EnviroGrant 2022 will be opening soon
From Monday 10th January not-for-profit organisations, including charities, societies, voluntary and community groups and schools are being welcomed to apply for funding up to £750 for projects that help make Staffordshire sustainable.
The Staffordshire EnviroGrant programme is being coordinated by Staffordshire County Council and environmental company Veolia. Grants could be awarded to projects that help improve waste and recycling, improve the natural environment, or raise awareness of environmental issues. These could include community food gardens, community larders and fridges that help reduce food waste. Schemes that help reduce carbon emissions or promote and improve recycling and re-use such as repair cafes may also be considered for funding.
